AJA D. MITCHELL

Owner

Aja Mitchell has been in the beauty industry for eight years now. She knew from a young age that she had a passion for making others feel and look their best, and right after she graduated high school, she began her journey to become a cosmetologist.

After graduating, she opened her first salon suite, and has taken multiple classes and seminars to become a specialist in certain areas of the beauty industry! She started to specialize in blonding, balayage & extensions in 2016 and has never looked back!

Trained in four different hand tied and machine weft extension methods, Aja continues to provide herself with prestine continuing education. She and her husband, Blake opened Mitchell & Co to provide a luxury experience to her own clients and her stylists clients!

Aja is currently only accepting Invisible Bead Extension consultation clients.

LACEY ALLEMAN

STYLIST & MAKEUP ARTIST

Lacey was born and raised in Prairieville and has been in the beauty industry for over four years and is a graduate of Aveda Institute Baton Rouge. She was Aja's first assistant, introduced to her through her best friend Caroline who thought they would get along and BOOM a perfect partnership was born!

When she's not behind the chair you can find Lacey enjoying long naps on the couch or spending her free time with her friends!

Lacey is a five-tool stylist able to do blondes, color, makeup, extensions, or anything her client’s dream of, so book now and make your hair dreams come true!

BRITNEY SCHEXNAYDER

STYLIST & MAKEUP ARTIST

Britney graduated as Aja's assistant to taking clients & is also Mitchell and Co's makeup artist & bridal hair specialist!

Britney has a passion for all things beauty- being able to handle blondes, brunettes, extension clients, while also being the salon's men's cut specialist. Britney can do it all! Looking for in-salon makeup services? She is your go-to girl for glam!

Britney is a Level 3 stylist with Mitchell & Co.

RACHEL PYLANT

STYLIST

Rachel is a seasoned stylist native to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She has been in the industry since 2010 with three years spent being an educator at the Aveda Institute.

Rachel offers many services, specializing in color, blondes, cuts, and styling.

She is also certified in keratin treatments and extension services.

Rachel is a level 4 stylist with Mitchell & Co. 

KATE OLINDE

STYLIST

Kate is a recent graduate of DSBC, she has been with Mitchell & Co for 2 years as front desk before deciding to expand her career as a cosmetologist. Kate is a level 1 stylist specializing in blondes, balayage, extensions and color! 

In her free time you can catch her hanging out with her dog Waffles!

MOLLY SCALISE

STYLIST

Molly is a recent graduate of Denham Springs Beauty College and she is starting her journey here at Mitchell & Co. She loves blondes and balayage services and is excited to bring her skills to the salon.

When she’s not doing hair, Molly loves to go to the beach, hang out with her family, cooking amazing meals, and shopping! She loves meeting new smiling faces and making her clients feel beautiful!

She is now accepting new clients and is so excited to start this journey.

LYDIA ESTESS

STYLIST

Lydia is a native of Baton Rouge, she has been behind the chair for 2 years now and is excited to bring her blonding & balayage skills to Mitchell & Co!

Lydia has a passion for bringing confidence to every guest who sits in her chair and making them feel their absolute best!

A few facts about her is she is a lover of all things PINK! She is obsessed with skin care, worked with kids for 5 years and absolutely can’t wait to have her own one day! When she is not behind the chair, you can find her spending time with her family & fur babies! She is accepting new clients and is ready to make your hair dreams come true!
